EyeRIS need not to be calibrated if Both EyeRIS unit and Projection is fixed.

If you need to frequently calibrate EyeRIS, this means either of these two (EyeRIS and Projector) is moving or shaking while use.

Please check

1) If EyeRIS mount is fixed properly on the wall with screws provided and it not just placed behind whiteboard without securing it with screws. If this the case, then every time user writes on the board, it will tend to shake the EyeRIS and its calibration will be out

2) Check if the projector is fixed with the projector mount securely and is not moving or shaking with slight touch of the projector.

  • Some times user turns on the projector using buttons on it in absence of projector remote, this also disturbs the projection. make sure user is using remote for turning projector ON/OFF.
  • Sometime if there is Ceiling Fan is installed in close proximity of the projector, and the projector then also its air or vibrations from ceiling, shakes the projector, and disturbs calibration.
