EyeRIS can be used with USB cable extended up to 22mtrs, this is the length we have tested.
By default the cable provided
- With EyeRIS -IX is 5 Meter mini USB, and
- With EyeRIS- 8090 is 5 Meter Type B USB
The user can use USB extender with active booster, to extend this USB connectivity. Cybernetyx can provide “8 Meter USB Extender with Active Booster” at an additional cost or INR 1850+applicable Taxes (price valid for shipping only within India).
Although, similar extender cable with Active Booster are available in the open market but there is no guarantee for the proper connectivity with EyeRIS. So it's advisable to buy tested USB cables from Cybernetyx.
