Windows 7

  1. Check "program and features" from the control panel and make sure "Windows media encoder" is installed. if not use intelliSpace Installer to install "windows media encoder" in pre-requisites.
  2.  if the issue is still persisting, open cd and look for a folder named "Optional Hotfix for win7", alternatively the same can be downloaded from this link Optional Hotfix for Windows 7, and follow below steps to install.
    1. Open Optional Hotfix folder
    2. Copy the installer package on desktop
    3. Right click on the installer and select properties
    4. Select compatibility tab.
    5. Check the checkbox for "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
    6. Select "windows XP service pack3" from the drop down list.
    7. Select the checkbox "run this program as an administrator".
    8. Click apply and click OK
    9. Now right click again on the installer file and select "Run this as an administrator".
    10. Follow on screen instruction.
    11. Restart the IntelliSpace software.


Windows 8/8.1/10


  1. Open " Program and features" from the control panel, and check if Microsoft expression encoder is installed.
  2. If Not, please Install it using latest IntelliSpace Installer prerequisites.

PS: 

1. Make sure you are using Window Media Player to play the recorded video. 

2. The default mp4 video player in window 10 will not work and neither will any other 3rd party or Open source media player.
